Captain Fico and Mate Elias have delivered white-hot action to their clients this month on the Explorer.

These guys have the 28-foot super panga dialed-in and their results are proof that you don’t need a big boat to catch big fish.

The Sailfish bite is on strong with the barroom brawler knocking out several Sails, including some Double Sailfish releases (above).

ย

Rooster fish releases have also been a constant this month for the Explorer:

It’s not all trophy releases, either. The fish box on the super panga has stayed bloody with reports of big Dorado and feisty Yellowfin Tunas:

Scott Whitehead and his family had a sweet day on the Wanderer on March 11.

This Rooster fish release was a great start to the day, which also featured offshore action with high-flying Sailfish.

Safe releases by Mate Johnson as always.

“Captain William was great!” wrote Scott in an email, “2 Roosters and 4 Sail releases. ย Lost two sails as well so it wouldโ€™ve been a huge day with those!”

FishingNosara Hall of Famers Ron LaGro and Catherine Chase rejoined the Wanderer for their annual blue water fishing adventure, and scored lots of big Sailfish on just a 5 hour half-day.

Catherine has a knack for battling big billfish, and she put on a catching clinic like usual.

Ron also brought home the bacon in the form of this football-sized Yellowfin Tuna.
