Florence Valentine’s group scored multiple excellent fish on November 18.
Multiple tasty Dorados were backed up with a handful of excellent Yellowfin Tunas.
Dan Johnson from Hatteras, NC celebrated his 60th birthday with his family fishing on the Wanderer and Discoverer.
The birthday boy himself was on theย Discoverer overseeing a big haul of meatfish; big Dorado and multiple Yellowfin Tunas.
They also moved inshore and pulled up some tasty Red Groupers.
Theย Wanderer stayed rail-to-rail with theย Discoverer, and the other half of the Johnson family scored several super billfish releases.
Theย Wandererย scored their own pile of filets with multiple Dorados and Yellowfin Tunas on ice.
The Wanderer‘s scorecard was highlighted by a 450lbs. Black Marlin release and two Sailfish releases.
All billfish safe released as always.
They celebrated with a family birthday dinner at Marlin Bill’s.

Theย Discoverer took anglers Marko Vukovich, Matthew Mccain, and Mark Wilkins out for a morning 5 hour trip on November 15, and despite the short trip they filled the fishbox with nice Dorados.
They also got hooked up to a nice Blue Marlin, but this beast escaped after a short duel. Great video from the tower by Captain Carlos:
Theย Discoverer added a few more Dorados to the filet box on November 12.
Tod Alberto’s family finished up their week of fishing with a boatload of Yellowfin Tuna scores on theย Discoverer.
Big fish and big smiles on the battleship!
Theย Discoverer and angler Patrick Theriault scored a pair of whoppers on November 9; a thick Yellowfin Tuna and a nice Dorado topped the scorecard.
They also nagged a smaller Dorado; good eatin’ on the big battleship Discoverer.
Theย Discoverer faced-off with a fluke November rainstorm on the 7th, and managed to score this Sailfish release before calling it a day early.
You gotta love a guy like Tim Homa; he made the booking for his fishing trip in February 2020, just a month before Covid hit.
He waited for 31 months, never complaining or asking for his deposit back. Even though it’s the rainy season, the clouds held off long enough to get this trip in and theย Discoverer was able to make that patience pay off.
Great story of perseverance and patience for these anglers.
The Alson crew finished up their week of fishing in Costa Rica with a very productive inshore romp. This BIG Congrio is the best tasting fish on the reef and will make their end-of-trip dinner a real treat.
The also added a final Rooster Fish release to their impressive haul of catch-and-release trophies.

The Alson group scored multiple nice trophy releases (Sailfish and several Rooster Fish) this week, but on the 12th they final brought home some edible filets.
This quintet of Yellowfin Tunas will be a tasty treat after a week of fishing.
