The Adventerer scored a wonderful quartet of fish on the 19th with client Ann Viitala.
White Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Jack Crevelle, and this big Pompano…now that’s a haul!
Our good friend Scott Hed had a big day on the Adventurer with a Jack Crevelle, White Tuna, and Yellowfin Tuna on the scorecard.
Captain David is on fire this month and shows no signs of letting up…bad news for the fish!
Family fun on the Wanderer as John Kwekkeboom brought the whole clan for a fun afternoon of inshore action.
The Penn Slammers were deployed on a wide variety of near-shore species like White Tuna and Jack Crevelle.
Big smiles and big fun on the flagship!
The Adventurer pulled off an incredible day inshore on March 27. This monster Jack Crevelle topped the scorecard:
Later in the trip they also nabbed two big Snappers.
Captain William stayed inshore on the 19th and boated a wide array of shallow-water species. This Jack Crevelle got things started:
Then some tasty Rock Snappers met their match against the big blue beauty.
Big smiles and big filets…all in a day’s work for the Wanderer.
The Harvester is not just an offshore hunter…Captain Alex kept her inside on January 16 and got lots of good bites over the reefs.
The Mega Panga is scoring big both inshore and offshore!
Captain Fico has been swarming the inshore reefs, with a bunch of excellent Rooster fish scores:
That’s no Instagram filter; it’s moisture on the camera lens, but look close and you can see super-sized Roosters.
Great work on the reefs by Captain Brujo!
Our old pal Hubble Keller brought the whole family down for a few days of fishing fun in Costa Rica. Three generations of Kellers were onboard for a combination inshore/offshore trip on the Wanderer.ย
After this nice Sailfish release, the flagship retreated inshore to ply the 80-foot waters over Pincha Padre.
The big boys were a little sleepy, but the group still had action on some Bonitas and Jack Crevelles…nothing for the dinner table but a bunch of fun nonetheless.
ย
On March 29 Roy Forster brought his kids along for morning half day on the Wanderer. They stayed inshore and enjoyed some good rod-bending action.
After warming up on some feisty Jack Crevelles, Roy scored a big old Ponpano…perfect for cevieche!
The Wanderer bid adios to Roy and the family, then welcomed Hanna Copp and her kids for another round of inshore action.
This Cierro Mackeral is certainly a tasty fish, plus they added a few more Jack Crevelles near the end of the trip.
.
One day, two happy fishing families for the Wanderer.
Tom and Tammy Clymer had a boatload of fun fishing inshore with Captain William on the Wanderer. Our tactic is to stir up a feeding frenzy on one of our inshore reefs, hoping to coax one of the big bottom dwellers out from his hiding spot in the ocean floor.
The trick to this kind of fishing is perseverance and patience; the fish of a lifetime won’t be the first one on the hook, but if you invest the time over a good spot then the monster will come calling. Tammy got the action fired up with this nice Jack Crevelle.
Then young Misses Clymer added another Jack Crevelle:
This activity combined with a few Bonitas getting recycled into the water by First Mate Alex’ knife, this area was bound to yield something big.
Something hit Tom Clymer’s line like a wrecking ball and bent the rod over like a bullwhip.
What was this tiny water disturbance hiding?
BOOM!
Great work by the Clymer family in executing this bottom fishing attack strategy with the unstoppable Captain William.
