All in a day’s work by the unstoppable Captain Fico!
More awesome Sailfish action for the Harvester on April 13!
The bite has been fast and furious this week, and Captain Alex has taken full advantage of these hungry Sailfish.
Jayson William’s posse took to the Wanderer on the 13th and these fun-lovin San Antonio anglers scored a swarm of sweet Sailfish releases.
Great work by another fun group from CCA Texas.
Mate Johnson pulled off all the releases safely and swiftly, adding to the good vibes on this trip.
The Explorer is still on a fish-catching tear, with lots of Sailfish releases report by anglers of all ages:
On the rare occasion that the Sailfish bite offshore shuts down, the inshore Rooster fish have been around to save the day.
Great work by the 26-foot barroom brawler!
Jay Cobb is a tough angler from our backyard in Jacksonville, FL and his group had a big time on the mega panga Harvester on April 12.
The Sailfish were stacked up thick and they were biting very aggressively; seems like another one was waiting after each safe release for their turn to get photographed.
Captain Alex’ six years learning from Master Captain William has made him a great boatman, and also made him an excellent photographer…look at these beautiful shots!
Paul Ewald and his son Jackson had a wonderful run of catches on the Adventurer in early May, highlighted by several sweet Sailfish releases.
This is an amazing angling accomplishment, catching big Sails this close to shore in a small boat.
These South Florida fishermen also loaded the fishbox with multiple big Snappers.
The Harvester hosted a great group of guys from Europe for a four-day firefight with big Pacific Sailfish.
They scored over 30 Sailfish in the course of the four full days.
That’s an average of more than one fish per hour for four straight days.
Great fish handling by Mate Kevin means that each specimen was safely released. We look forward to seeing these monsters again soon.
Amazing work by Captain Alex and the Mega Panga.
Captain William started the month of April on a tear with fantastic Sailfish action on the Wanderer.
The first week of April was booked by our old friend Dennis Cinquino and over the course of three full day trips they filled up the scorecard with over 20 releases.
Captain William is a fish-hunting machine, and Mate Johnson’s work in the cockpit continues to improve every time he hits the water.
Looks like everyone in this group got a crack as several nice Sailfish.
All safe released as usual by the flagship Wanderer.
They also scored a few sweet Dorado for the dinner table.
Awesome work by the boat that continues to reign as the top boat in Garza Bay.
Fun family-style fishing for the Harvester on the 4th!
The mega panga delivered five Sailfish releases for this great group; everyone on board got a release of their own.
Not to shabby for just a five hour trip!
The Explorer continues to grow her reputation as a fly-weight fish-fighting weapon as many large fish have met their match.
ย This Double Sailfish release is certainly a highlight, and the combo of Captain Fico and Mate Elias have made big Sailfish releases a common occurrence on the super panga.
There has also been a nice run of Yellowfin Tuna which the Explorer has taken advantage of:
Most recently our great friends Ken and Brenda Russell along with Larry Komenda and Misti Nolan nabbed this sweet Rooster fish release:
Great work by the legendary Explorer!
