The Explorer welcomed a great couple of anglers to Nosara today and had some great catches. Captain David kept them on the fish while the other area boats tried to nip at their heels. Here are some of the early catches that got things going:

The highlight of the trip for Shain Levy and Casey O’Conner was a MASSIVE Broomtail grouper estimated to weigh over 50lbs.

That was more than enough to fill the refrigerator but this couple stayed on the action and added a nice White Tuna, two Jack Crevalles, and a quartet of tasty Congrios.

Excellent work by Captain David and Mate Carlos of the unbreakable Explorer. Any day that yield fish that are bigger than the Captain is a good day.
