You gotta love a guy like Tim Homa; he made the booking for his fishing trip in February 2020, just a month before Covid hit.
He waited for 31 months, never complaining or asking for his deposit back. Even though it’s the rainy season, the clouds held off long enough to get this trip in and theย Discoverer was able to make that patience pay off.
Great story of perseverance and patience for these anglers.
The Alson group scored multiple nice trophy releases (Sailfish and several Rooster Fish) this week, but on the 12th they final brought home some edible filets.
This quintet of Yellowfin Tunas will be a tasty treat after a week of fishing.
The rains held off into September this year, and theย Discovererย stayed in the water and ready for action.
On September 7, the big battleship scored some sweet Yellowfin Tunas with angler Kyle Toops.
Theย Wanderer tracked down a nice catch of Yellowfin Tuna on August 25 with our good friend Nigel Phillips.
Theย Harvester scored big on August 22 with a nice-sized Yellowfin Tuna and a tasty Dorado on ice.
Doug Levalley’s group finished up their week in Nosara with a great Sailfish release.
Theย Wanderer also reports a nice array of Yellowfin Tuna catches.
Theย Explorer and Juan Levesque continued to dominate on August 19. A bunch of late-season Dorados are a welcome surprise.
They also added a big Yellowfin Tuna to the filet bag.
Team Levesque returned to theย Explorer on the 18th and brought home a bunch of nice Yellowfin Tuna filets.
Our good friends Doug and Barbara Levalley returned for a quick 5 day trip in late August. On their first day fishing theย Discoverer gave them all the filets they can eat plus some to take home:

The big battleshipย Discoverer scored a few nice Yellowfin Tunas on the 16th with angler John Barry.
Here’s what John had to say after the trip: “We had a fantastic trip these guys are true professionals – I brought my mom along with me who did not want to fish and they communicated with me before and after the trip to ensure she had a good time. She had a fanatics time, even ended up in the battle chair fighting a tuna I bet I could even get her to get out again. We caught a bunch of Yellowfin + fought a sailfish we just lost.”
