The Discoverer kept up the pressure on the 20th with an excellent array of Dorados and Yellowfin Tunas on ice.
Captain Alex posted a banner day with angler Colorado angler Chris Vargoshe. The day’s scorecard was dotted with superb Sailfish releases.
The action was intense, but Mate Wilson and Captain Alex were in the mood for the feud. All these Sailfish were safely released after their capture.
They totaled TEN Sailfish releases, backed up with seven Yellowfin Tuna and a small Dorado.
Amazing work by the mighty mega pangaย Harvester.
On April 19, the Harvesterย stayed on the Yellowfin Tuna bite while also mixing in some super Sailfish releases.
Once dinner was safely on ice, the mega panga headed out to Sailfish City.

This awesome Sailfish releases rounded out the trip.
Captain Alex stays on the cutting edge; in late April the rest of the boats were still jumping on Dorado, but the mega panga moved on to the Yellowfin Tuna swarms further offshore.
Later they came inshore and mugged a big Amberjack. Great catch by Tony Williams.
The big battleshipย Discoverer knocked out several Sailfish releases on April 18.
After a multitude of safe releases, this crew added a bunch of Yellowfin Tunas to the icebox.

Captain Fico rode the momentem of his 2nd place finish in the tournament to more consistent action. On the 17th he scored this nice array of Yellowfin Tuna.
Newly-minted champion Captain William delvered another victorious trip on the 17th.
His scorecard featured Sailfish and Marlin releases, plus several nice Yellowfin Tunas for the dinner table.
Excellent work by the flagship and Michael Monaghan’s group.
Still glowing from their 2nd place finish in the tournament, Captain Fico and theย Explorer stayed hot on the 11th.
Ron Lehman’s family hit it out of the park on April 7. This monster Black Marlin is a true fish-of-a-lifetime for these Connecticut anglers.
