Erick Burke had a fun day of catching at the Nosara River mouth on July 12.

“Killer trip last week,” wrote Erick. “Special thanks to Javier for showing me the ropes and mixing me in with the locals!”
Here is local angler Chimpy with his catch:

Florida anglers Bob and Lori Sherley joined by Chet and Carole Jasak and his wife for their first of three big days on the Wanderer.

Big Yellowfin Tunas were the order of the day, with the flagship reported several great scores.

Later in the day the Yellas yielded the way for some super Sailfish releases.

Bob Zuniga’s group nabbed the fish of a lifetime on July 11 with this strong Striped Marlin release on July 11.

Later on in the trip they added a nice White Tuna…a rare find this far offshore.

Here’s what Bob had to say in an email: “I just wanted to take the time to let you and your staff know that my group and I had the time of a lifetime! From the fishing, to the breakfast and all of the accommodations, we enjoyed every second we spent at your paradise! Your staff took customer service to the next level and the fishing is unlike I have ever encountered in the world. I just wanted to again send you my thanks and on behalf of my group… PURA VIDA!!! Robert Zuniga”
The Discoverer found great blue water action on July 11. This pair of Sailfish releases are a welcome addition to the scorecard.

They also nabbed a bushel of Yellowfin Tunas for the dinner table.

Kevin Stuber enlisted Captain David for an inshore fishing mission on July 11 and they scored big. The highlight of the trip was this lovely Cubera Snapper.

They also added a bunch of Tunas, including this nice Yellowfin Tuna and White Tuna.

Great work by the Adventurer!
The inshore assassin Adventurer continued to score major fish on July 10. Get a load of this MASSIVE Amberjack:

What an amazing fish…easily 80+lbs.!

Captain David then lead a tour of the fish market, loading up on Snapper, Yellowfin Tuna, and Dorado.

I don’t know if the IGFA recognizes an ‘Inshore Tasty Filets Grand Slam’, but if so this clearly qualifies.
Paul Worthington kept his hot streak going with a fantastic follow-up performance on July 10.

A nice Sailfish was backed up by a delicious-looking Dorado. Great work by the Discoverer.
Here’s what Paul wrote in an email when he got back:
“Just a note to let you know we had a great time in Nosara. As always your local staff were knowledgeable, accommodating and professional. From Marias breakfast to the guys in the office, along with those behind the scenes it was a positive experience!”
Captain Fico’s Explorer is a great place for young anglers to learn the craft of fishing, and on July 10 this young man got a lesson in near-shore fishing.

These excellent Yellowfin Tunas were the highlight of the trip, which also included a nice Jack Crevalle.

Texas angler Bob Zuniga and his group had a big time on the Wanderer with several great Yellowfin Tuna catches on July 9.

The big Yellowfins came in early and often, and the flagship Wanderer was there to snatch them up.

The porpoises are running hard in early July, and our bottlenosed friends have the Yellowfin Tuna rounded up and ready for delivery.

Michael McDonald and his son loaded up great Yellowfin Tunas throughout the day.

With the fishboxes full of filets, Young Mr. McDonald hooked up a Sailfish and fought him all the way to a safe release.
