Greg Patts had a monster day on the Harvester with multiple big Yellowfin Tunas reported on January 3.
Captain Alex is one of our most experienced boatmen and these Yella fellas provided a perfect opportunity to continue the training of our newest Mate Wilson.
As an added bonus, Mr. Patts nabbed this big Dorado to bring some diversity to the filet bag.
Great work by the mega panga!
Jason Frelich of Satellite Beach, FL is used to plying the nearby blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean, but in early November his group found out what kind of monsters dwell out here in the Pacific.
Even this finch wanted to get a closer look at this beastie:
The biggest of these Yellowfin Tunas are easily upwards of 70lbs., meaning these boys will have plenty to eat this week.
Great work by Captain Alex and the awesome Harvester!
Fishing columnist and Jacksonville angler Anna Crowder got her week of fishing off to a hot start with Captain Fico on the Explorer.
Looks like dinner is squared away for the week!
The Explorer returned to the same grounds on the 22nd with client Ty Julian, and once again they pulled in another brace of awesome Yellowfin Tunas.

Great work by these fun-loving Tallahassee anglers.
Philip Rivera and his family joined Captain Alex for the beginning of a double-day of fishing on March 15. The morning half of the day was highlighted by this excellent Sailfish release:
Then in the afternoon Jasper Buchbauer came aboard for a Yellowfin Tuna rally.
Persistence pays, and this late-day monster proves that the best fish of the day is often the last fish of the day:
The Harvester found gold with Craig Sutton nabbing at 150+lbs. Yellowfin Tuna on August 12.
Craig casted for this monster over a pod of spinning porpoises and brought him home with an efficient 25 minute fight on a Penn Slammer spinning reel.
It’s rare to see a fish the Captain Alex can’t lift off the deck, but this one fits the bill.
Fellow anglers Kim and Lloyd Michael were on board and scored an excellent Sailfish release, plus added their own meat with a 50+ lbs. Dorado.
Great day on the Mega Panga!
HOLY MOLY! Check out this monster Yellowfin Tuna scored by client Ryan Miles on the battleship Discoverer.
6.4 ft long, 4.4 ft wide, and God knows how many pounds.
Captain Carlos and Mate Juan Carlos Jirón have done it again!
