Tampa angler Bill Harris is a returning FishingNosara Hall of Famer and in mid-November he brought another great group of anglers to ply waters off of Nosara with Captain William on the flagship Wanderer.
In addition to Mr. Harris theย Wanderer welcomedย Joe Arriaga, Mark Scott, Brady Harris, Jimmy Erwin, and Ron Cox for three days of action. They started off inshore with some Bonitas and a nice Jack Crevelle, then on their second day headed offshore. Here is a shot of the new-look Wanderer taken from theย Discoverer:
The Wanderer worked in tandem with the Discovererย to pluck some tasty Yellowfin Tunas from under this feeding school of porpoises:
On the third day they trolled offshore and a tasty Dorado:
Great work by our old friend Bill Harris and his posse!
It’s the rainy season right now, but that didn’t stop Ron Lard and his team of Virginia-based anglers from braving the elements for three days, conquering a wide variety of inshore species.
Captain Alex and Mate Kevin performed fearlessly in the face of the rain, guaranteeing a fun, safe, productive run of trips.
Here’s what Mr. Lard wrote in an email:
Craig,
“Just wanted to let you know that my group and I (weather not withstanding) had a great time in Nosara. The housing was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Your staff was pleasant and took very good care off us.”
“Although the weather didn’t cooperate with our stay, Cpt. Alex and Kevin managed to get us out the three days and found fish.”
The inshore madness continued on April 2 as the flagship pulled myriad species of fish up from the shallow reefs.
Fresh of his great river mouth scores of Snook, client Mike Loughrey and his group scored Jack Crevelles, Amberjack, and the elusive Blue Jack Crevelles.
With four experienced anglers on deck, First Mate Alex got the rare opportunity to see how the client’s usually feel…that is, sitting back and watching some pro anglers fill the fishbox:
Captain Fico has continued to strengthen his game, especially when it comes to scoring on multiple species in a single trip. On March 5 he filled the fishbox with:
Jack Crevalle,
Cubera Snapper,
…and the tasty Cierro Mackeral. Great results from the boat that is always on the fish.
