Cary Clark’s family started off their big week of fishing with the flagship Wanderer. Master Captain William reports a nice Sailfish release at the top of the scorecard.
After the safe release, they scored BIG Dorado offshore.
Then they followed a school of spinning dolphins and switched to topwater casting.
They have a nice pile of Yellowfin Tunas to show for the effort.
The Harvester and Bowe McGinnis’ crew scored Yellowfin Tunas and a small Dorado on January 2.
On January 2, Elliot Marer’s group had a fantastic day on the big battleship Discoverer.
A Big Marlin was hooked up but spit the hook. Better luck next time!
PRO TIP: When a billfish jumps, point the rod straight out towards the fish (“Bow to the Master”). This usually prevents the line from loosening.
By the end of trip, Dorados and Yellowfin Tunas were stacked up thick in the fishbox.
Our very good friend Manny Rivera has returned to Nosara for a full week of fishing on the Adventurer. He and Captain Fito hit it off early with an excellent Sailfish release.
After the safe release, they scored an octet of nice Yellowfin Tunas.
Nigel Phillips kicked off the new year with the Wanderer, and the mighty flagship scored a Dorado, a Yellowfin Tuna, and a Mule Snapper.
Our old friend Bowe McGinnis was productive on December 29 with the Harvester reporting several great fish on ice.
They scored a pair of nice Dorados and a couple of football-sized Yellowfin Tunas.
Captain Antonio and Mate Raffa welcomed Jody Raivo’s family for an awesome day of catching on December 29.
A multitude of big Dorados filled up the fishbox.
They also diversified their haul by adding a nice stack of Yellowfin Tunas.
