After four straight days of fishing, it be understandable if Marty Crotty and his buddy stayed inshore and bobbed around enjoying the sunshine on their final day on the water.

Not these guys…they put the exclamation point on their fishing week with a ridiculous TEN Sailfish releases!

Even more amazing is that they had two triple hookups and two double hookups. meaning that each fish was part of a multiple release.

You know that something is up when First Mate Alex has a reel bent over; usually fighting the fish is the client’s job, but with three fish on somebody had to step up. Here we see Alex in his usual position on the business end of a couple of billfish.

Might as well get these guys’ statues ready for the FishingNosara Hall of Fame! They have certainly earned enshrinement.

Marty Crotty and his posse are on a fishin’ mission to release as many Sailfish as they can this week, and on the fourth trip in four days the party leader got things going with the all-the-sudden-common Pacific Sailfish release.

They boys upped the ante in the afternoon as they pulled off yet another Double Sailfish release, plus followed it up with another loner released late in the trip.

Marty Crotty is the most hardcore angler you ever want to meet. Who else has the guts to fish five straight days on the mighty Wanderer?

These guys got their week off to a fast start by accomplishing one of the most challenging and rewarding maneuvers in fishing: the Double Sailfish Release!

Good to see these guys get up close and personal with these billfish because I get the feeling they will be seeing a lot of each other this week.
