Captain Fito and angler Chris Kilgore kept up the Adventurer‘s white-hot pace on January 17 with great Dorado action.



The Van den Bogert group made the long journey from Europe to fish a full week on the Explorer. On their first day, they we welcomed to the blue water by this fired-up Striped Marlin:
This one spit the hook and escaped, but these anglers stayed vigilant and scored several nice Yellowfin Tunas and Dorados.








On January 17 the Discoverer and angler Skip Hickson stayed hot with multiple 30lbs. Dorados on ice.






They reached their fill of filets, and spent the balance of their day releasing Dorados.
The Discoverer and angler Javier Perez filled the refrigerator with Dorado filets on January 16:


The Harvester scored this amazing Blue Marlin release on the 13th.

Bobby Miller and the Wanderer scored a couple of beautiful Sailfish releases on the 13th.




They also loaded up on nice Dorados. So many were caught that they ended up releasing the smaller ones.










On the 13th, the Discoverer and Chris Snyder had a banner day.



This excellent Sailfish release was backed up with a NICE Wahoo.


They added a trio of nice Dorados to round out the filet bag.


Master Captain William introduced Skip Hickson’s group to our blue water fishery on January 12, and they acclimated quickly with a nice Sailfish release backed-up with multiple BIG Dorado scores.







Once they got their fill, this crew spent the afternoon releasing their catches.







John Egan’s group took to the Explorer on the 12th after spending a few days on the big boats earlier in the week.





Smaller boat, same big fish! An excellent Striped Marlin release was backed-up with a super Sailfish release.


They also boated a few tasty Dorados for the dinner table.



Martin Wicks continued to score on another hybrid offshore/inshore trip on January 12.


The grabbed a big Dorado offshore, then moved inside to score a nice Pargo Snapper.
