Miriam Schroers’ family enjoyed all that our inshore fishery has to offer with an amazing performance on April 18.
After an excellent early-morning Cubera Snapper score, these anglers corned a medium-sized Wahoo who drifted a little too close to shore.
It’s unusual to catch a Wahoo this close to shore, but with Captain Alex it’s quite normal to score a nice Rooster Fish release.

Javier scored again with more great action at the Nosara River Mouth. This Snook and Jack score means filets and ceviche, respectively.
Captain Alex kept the Harvester close to shore on the 17th and scored big.
Kerri Handrigan’s group nabbed the first Rooster fish release came early in the day, and a second found the hooks just before noon.
The third and final Rooster Fish came calling at 1230pm, right before the end of the trip…Three nice trophy releases in just a five-hour trip!
El Jefe Javier Hernandez scored an amazing 15.5kg (35.1 lbs.) Snook at the Nosara River Mouth on the 16th.
Rey Robalo is a conservationist and as such chose to release this monster alive.
Captain David delivered a nice 50+lbs. Amberjack in on May 1 with angler Christine Henkel.

Captain William took part in the Ship of Fools Tournament on April 13 and notched the scorecard with this Blue Marlin release.
This beast was released on the way to a Top 5 finish for the mighty flagship.
On the 12th, William Brown did well on the Discoverer with Captain Carlos reporting excellent offshore action highlighted by big Dorados and nice Yellowfin Tunas.
Rick Yacowitz and his posse had a fun day on the Discoverer with great action both inshore and offshore.
These BIG Yellowfin Tunas were the fruit of their morning offshore, and in the evening they came inshore and scored this excellent Cubera Snapper.
