Our good friends Doug and Barbara Levalley returned for a quick 5 day trip in late August. On their first day fishing the Discoverer gave them all the filets they can eat plus some to take home:
A super-size Dorado was backed up with a beefy Yellowfin Tuna. Awesome job by Captain Carlos!
The Discoverer and Susan Patterson’s group released a nice Sailfish release on August 8.
Captain Carlos welcomed Lana Sandell’s group back on August 7.
A world-class Blue Marlin release was augmented with a tasty Yellowfin Tuna on ice:
On August 6, the Discoverer and the Mark Shugg and his son blasted into orbit with this wonderful Blue Marlin release.
They also nagged a bright-colored Sailfish release.
Lana Sandell’s group joined the Discoverer on the 5th for a great day of action. A swarm of Sailfish releases populated the big battleship’s scorecard for these Texas anglers.
The Discoverer delivered some nice Dorado catches for angler Sean Wedige on August 4.
Shane Sheltra nabbed a BIG Yellowfin Tuna on August 3 with the Discoverer.
The Discoverer engaged in a three-hour battle with a MONSTER Yellowfin Tuna on August 1.
William Myers and his family tag-teamed this monster, estimated to weight 115lbs.

The Discoverer and Team Callihan fought the true fish-of-a-lifetime on July 31.
This MONSTER Blue Marlin put the big battleship to the test, but Captain Carlos and Mate Kevin were up to the challenge. The fish was safe released as always.
