On June 4, Larry and Linda Griffin were back on the mega panga for another great of variety from Captain Wilson and Mate Geraldo.
After a pair of wonderful Sailfish releases, they visited the meat market for a beefy Yellowfin Tuna and large Rainbow Runner:
The finished up the day inshore and caught the biggest Needlefish we have seen in a long, long time.
Just for comparison, here is the current world record for this species:
Giant Mexican Needlefish, Tylosurus fodiator. Fish caught from coastal waters off Puerto Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, May 2004. Length: 1.49 m (4 feet 11 inches).
