Charles Newton and Greg Wood were at it again on the 24th, this time scoring a big Rooster Fish in the morning.

That is one fine feathered fella!

Charles Newton and Greg Wood got their week started with brisk action on the flagship. The early day inshore bite delivered this sweet Rooster Fish release.

Then in the afternoon the Wanderer headed offshore to do battle with energetic Sailfish.

They added some beefy Yellowfin Tunas in the late-afternoon…perfect end to a well-rounded day of action!

Cale Hensel spent the afternoon with Captain Alex and in just 2.5 hours hooked up a big Rooster Fish backed up by a nice Yellowfin Tuna.

Nick Czerok’s group had a great send off with Captain Alex reporting nice Rooster Fish and Sailfish releases.

Here’s what Nick had to say on Facebook: “I’d like to welcome Jess to the billfish club. Released her first pacific sailfish today. She also did her first triple header. First yellowfin tuna, first rooster-fish and first sailfish. And as tradition, I made her jump in the water after the sail. Another great day in Costa Rica.”

It was a trophy fish kind of day for Nick Czerok and his crew from Searok Charters on board the Harvester on July 6.

After this glowing pair of Rooster Fish releases, Captain Alex headed offshore to Sailfish City for a few more releases:

The Explorer performed brilliantly on July 5 with clients Keith Benson and Heidi Watson. At the top of the scoreboard were these wonderful Rooster fish releases.

Then they nabbed a nice Dorado later in the day.

The walk-off shot was this mammoth Cubera Snapper:

Awesome work by Captain Fico!

Nick Czerok scored big with Rooster Fish releases reported by Captain Alex on July 4th.

Allan Boegner had a big day with Captain Carlos on the Discoverer highlighted by these whopper Yellowfin Tunas:

Later in the day they moved inshore and scored a big Rooster Fish release. Nice work by Captain David (of the Adventurer) to release this fish safely.

Mike Morgan scored a ridiculous Rooster Fish onboard the mighty Wanderer. Check out this monster:

Great work!
Captain Alex stayed inshore on the 13th and nabbed this feisty Rooster fish.
