Most recently a gang of anglers from Jacksonville, FL were on the blue water and showed the world how we get down in Northeast Florida. Gary Newman got things rolling with this spectacular Striped Marlin:

Then was followed shortly after with another grand Rooster Fish for Chuck Darner:

Then Bill Wilderotter nailed this MASSIVE Broomtail Grouper…70lbs. if its an ounce!

Things are dialed in on the Wanderer, but hurry up and reserve your dates as the calendar is filling up fast. The Marlin and Sails aren’t going anywhere…

But you can’t get them unless you book the Wanderer today. Pura Vida Amigos!

On January 25th, 26th, and 27th the Wanderer was honored to welcome Captain Kevin Faver, his wife Carrie, and the crew of The Outdoors Show for a few days of fishing and filming. Kevin and Carrie repeated last year’s success by catching four Dorados and releasing seven Sailfish.

Also Kevin released one of the nicest Rooster Fish of the year so far. These episodes should air soon, so keep an eye on this report for airtimes and channels.

Our great friends Mike Young and Jeff joined Javier Hernandez (General Manager, Nosara Paradise Rentals) for a sunset cruise. They caught lots of fish in a short amount of time: four 12lbs. Black tuna, a 10lbs. Yellowfin Tuna, a 12lbs. Rainbow runner, and this beautiful 35lbs. Rooster fish, which was released of course.

Earlier in the week Manuel nabbed this excellent Sailfish…c’mon Manuel, save some for the clients!

On July 14th client James had a banner day with Captian Vibert. By the end of the trip he had caught five 18lbs. jacks, two 15lbs. yellowfin tuna, and a very elusive 18lbs. white tuna. We’ve seen lots of clients going after these excellent tasting fish recently, and the diversity of the table fare is a testiment to Captain Vibert’s long experience fishing these waters.

The next day, client David filled released this amazing Rooster Fish:
