Great work by the unstoppable Explorer!
FishingNosara Hall of Famers Ron LaGro and Catherine Chase rejoined the Wanderer for their annual blue water fishing adventure, and scored lots of big Sailfish on just a 5 hour half-day.

Catherine has a knack for battling big billfish, and she put on a catching clinic like usual.

Ron also brought home the bacon in the form of this football-sized Yellowfin Tuna.

James Constable is a tough-as-nails Tampa, FL area angler who is no stranger to big catches offshore and near shore.

On March 5 Captain Alex got him going with several nice Rooster Fish releases.

In the afternoon they put away the spinning rods and headed offshore about 10 miles where the Sailfish were stacked up and hungry.

Great work in the cockpit by Mate Kevin to coordinate this high-flying action.
Our good friend David Langhorne took to the Discoverer for a fantastic day in Sailfish City.

They collected six Sailfish releases total on the day.

Great hunting by Captain Carlos and good safe fish handling by Mate Juan Carlos was the cherry on top for this fun-loving group.
The Harvester got on a hot streak this month, starting on the 3rd with this very productive day of Sailfish releases:

Mate Kevin was on top of his game with these big pelagic releases.

Check out the amazing bio-luminescence on this beast:

The crew also added a medium-sized Dorado for the dinner table. Not bad at all!

Another day, another fantastic Sailfish score for the flagship Wanderer…

Outstanding job by the boat that defines consistency.
Amazing photo sequence delivered by the Harvester…check out this high-flying beauty’s trip from the clear blue water to the billshot.

Safe release by Mate Kevin means we get to see this happen over and over again in the future.
Michael Mariola brought his sons along for a family fishing outing on the Wanderer, and the fatherly Captain William showed the boys how it’s done with some big Sailfish releases.

Mate Johnson did an excellent job of making sure these monsters were released safely.

They also scored a small but tasty Dorado later in the trip…always nice to have some filets to bring home.

Craig invited Javier and Marino along for his last day of fishing on the Harvester, and Captain Alex put them on the fish early and often.

Aside from this Double Sailfish release, they also scored several more Sailfish during the trip.

Great work by the mega panga!

More nice Sailfish action to close out the month on the mighty flagship.

This monster was no match for the big blue beauty.
