They also nabbed a nice Dorado for variety. Looks like good eating tonight at Casa Ellis.

Roxie and Terry Ellis had a huge day on the Wanderer, punctuated by several super Yellowfin Tunas.








They also nabbed a nice Dorado for variety. Looks like good eating tonight at Casa Ellis.

The Explorer had another Yellowfin Tuna sushi party on June 27 with angler Timothy Buttler. Yummy!


After a slow period early in the week, the Harvester came on strong with a banner performance on June 26.

Texas angler David Hobbs’ group notched the scorecard with several BIG Yellowfin Tunas.




On June 26 Bob Reinhardt continued his blue-water battle with several Sailfish victories. Safe released as always due to Mate Kevin’s excellent fish-handling.




They replenished with a fine Yellowfin Tuna score later in the day.

Captain Antonio and the Explorer kept scoring in late June. Dorados and Yellowfin Tunas led to a fresh sushi meal on board.




The Discoverer welcomed Bob Reinhardt’s group for a nice Yellowfin Tuna hunt on June 25.


On June 24 the Harvester reported Yellowfin Tunas and multiple Dorados on ice. Nice work by David Hobbs’ group!





Roy Whann had a nice time with Captain Carlos on the Discoverer during his June 24 trip.


In addition to the Sailfish release, they also nabbed a Dorado and Yellowfin Tuna for the dinner table.


The Discoverer and they scored both Yellowfin Tuna and Dorado filets for the fishbox on the 22nd.

John Gilvary’s group scored a nice stack of Yellowfin Tunas on June 21 with the Wanderer.








From John’s Facebook post: “Well day one of fishing in Costa Rica went about as well as one could hope. All the yellowfin you could want and no Marlin hooked up but had 4 come into the spread and show their bills.”


“Luckily we have 3 more full days offshore to lockdown some Marlin as well as a couple of sailfish to cross them off their lists.”



“The boys did an amazing job with their first yellowfin tunas and many laughs were shared with the crew.”
