The advantage if fishing five times a week is that Captain David can apply one day’s success to the next trip. He took Antonio Cantillo to the same spot he’s been working all week and once again scored:
The highlight was this big Amberjack, which was backed up by a big Jack Crevelle and a small White Tuna.
The next day Captain David and Paul Fontaine found this manhole-cover sized Pompano…can you say ‘ceviche’?
Captain William closed out the month with a fun morning half day with client Colin Pisano scoring a beautiful Sailfish release.
After the release of this high-flyin’ trophy fish, the flagship brought home dinner with this 30lbs. Dorado.
The Wanderer scored four Sailfish releases on January 26 with client Paul Fontaine.
The fourth Sailfish was a fierce hard-charger but was no match for the flagship.
Later in the day they brought home dinner with this big Dorado.

January 26 was a big time on the blue water. The action peaked in the afternoon with the first of four Sailfish released notched just after 1 pm.
Great hunting by Captain William and excellent fish handling by Mate Johnny underscored this wonderful day of action.
Another excellent Sailfish was scored on January 25 on the mighty Wanderer:
Captain David reported four White Tunas ranging between 8lbs. and 12lbs. each on his January 25 trip with Mr. and Mrs. George Brayfield.
This filets are very tasty and a favorite for sushi in particular.
Captain Fico knows how to deliver good results in a short amount of time; on January 24 client Robert Pawley booked a 5hr. half day and the super panga delivered a super Sailfish release:
The mega panga Harvester welcomed client Richard Dennis for a double Marlin release day on January 24.
This pair of juvenile Marlins put up the same strong fight as their full-grown brethren and challenged the skills of Captain Alex to keep the fish from tangling.
Beautiful fish-handling by Mate Kevin saw to a pair of safe releases of these unruly teenage Marlin.
All this on just a 5 hour trip!
The Discoverer released a nice Sailfish on the 22nd with Captain Carlos reporting great action on the nearby blue water.
Pretty sweet when the fish is almost as big as the angler! Nice fish handling by Mate Juan Carlos to ensure the safety of this majestic creature.
