Roy Whann had a nice time with Captain Carlos on the Discoverer during his June 24 trip.

In addition to the Sailfish release, they also nabbed a Dorado and Yellowfin Tuna for the dinner table.

The Discoverer and they scored both Yellowfin Tuna and Dorado filets for the fishbox on the 22nd.

John Gilvary’s group scored a nice stack of Yellowfin Tunas on June 21 with the Wanderer.

From John’s Facebook post: “Well day one of fishing in Costa Rica went about as well as one could hope. All the yellowfin you could want and no Marlin hooked up but had 4 come into the spread and show their bills.”

“Luckily we have 3 more full days offshore to lockdown some Marlin as well as a couple of sailfish to cross them off their lists.”

“The boys did an amazing job with their first yellowfin tunas and many laughs were shared with the crew.”

Oregon angler Bowe McGinnis performed brilliantly on June 21 with the Harvester; the highlight of the trip was this tricky Double Sailfish release:

They also scored a solo Sailfish release and brought home a nice Yellowfin Tuna for the dinner table.

Billy Slusser joined the Harvester on June 20 for a fun day offshore. This Sailfish release is a real beauty:

Tim McAuliffe’s group nagged a Striped Marlin release on June 20 with the mighty flagship Wanderer.

For the dinner table the added a decent Dorado.

The Discoverer and angler Paul Combs performed brilliantly on June 20.

A big bad Blue Marlin release was backed up by a beautiful Sailfish release.
Captain David led a great inshore assault on June 20. The highlight of the scorecard was a pair of big tasty Red Grouper.

They also hooked this beautiful mystery fish, which was released after the photo.

A BIG Dorado was scored on June 19 by angler John Ritchie with Captain Antonio on the Explorer.

A fight this big will leave a man famished, but fresh sushi on board kept them going:

Aaron Revere returned to the Harvester and his son Teddy caught and released a nice Blue Marlin. Excellent work by Captain Wilson.
