We were stoked to welcome some new European friends for a week of great inshore action on the Adventurer.
These hard-fishing folks found us through Tightlines NL and brought their ‘A’ game to the waters around Garza Bay.
These big Rooster fish releases were a sign of great things to come.
Their haul included lots of Spanish Mackerels, Jack Crevalles, and the ultra-rare Blue Jack Trevelly.
Mark Carrie knocked an item off of his bucket-list with Captain Fico on the Adventurer. Check out this monster Rooster fish:

The Adventurer‘s hot streak of Rooster Fish releases continued into late August, with some 40lbs.+ pez gallos meeting their match.
Captain Fico continues to master the art of Rooster wrangling, as evidenced by these photos.
Of course the 23-foot switchblade can always be counted on for some meat…check out this 15lbs. Cierro Mackeral:

From Queen Snappers to Jack Crevelle, Captain Fico has the inshore reefs dialed-in and is providing big smiles for his clients:
Captain Fico snagged a Rooster fish of his own on an off day in mid-August.
Nice “day off” for Garza Bay’s fastest rising star.
Captain Fico has been swarming the inshore reefs, with a bunch of excellent Rooster fish scores:
That’s no Instagram filter; it’s moisture on the camera lens, but look close and you can see super-sized Roosters.

Captain Fico on the 23-foot Adventurer continues to dominate the inshore species with some remarkable catches to close out the month of July.
This Cubera Snapper is a typical catch for the switchblade, despite the coral green waters inshore.
Captain Fico had a big day on July 26 with a wide variety of edibles on ice…this Ponpano is certainly one of the biggest of the year so far for the whole team:
As if the ceviche wasn’t filling enough, this couple also scored a nice Yellowfin Tuna for filets and sushi:
They closed out the day with this 30 lbs. Rooster fish release.

Roy Starling and his son returned to the Adventurer on the 26th and scored more tasty morsels for the fishbox.
This Yellowtail Snapper is a real whopper, plus the Snappers are nothing to sneeze at either!
On Father’s Day, The Adventurer celebrated by scoring a full buffet of filets for Jason Sandmaier and his son.
Captain Fico is an expert at nailing multiple species on a single day. Great work by the 23-foot pocket knife.
The Adventurer became a home for a week of Father Day celebrations with lots of Father/son teams scoring excellent fish.
Howard Hirsch and his son nabbed some tasty morsels with Captain Fico on June 19th.
Definitely looks like these boys brought home the bacon!
