Captain Carlos and the Discoverer went out on the 28th with Ed Benus and Dan Rosensteel.
Once again early Sailfish releases were augmented by a nice pile of Dorado filets.
On November 27, the Discoverer welcomed our old friends Ed Benus and Dan Rosensteel for a fun day of fishing. These Tampa-area anglers performed brilliantly with a nice Sailfish release topping the scorecard.
They also loaded up on Dorados for the diner table.
A couple small Yellowfin Tunas provided for a great sushi party.
The Wanderer welcomed back Dan Rosensteel and Ed Benus for a great day of Dorado action.
Dan Rosensteel and Ed Benus added a few big Dorados to their haul on the 23rd.
Excellent work by the Discoverer.

The highlight of the day was this sneaky little Striped Marlin:
The Wanderer also battled a nice Sailfish, safe releasing it as always.
For the fishbag they stacked up a nice pile of Dorado filets.
For variety, they added this pair of Yellowfin Tunas.

Tampa angler Dan Rosensteel had a nice day on the 27th with the Discoverer reporting a nice Sailfish release early in the trip.
Then in the afternoon, the keen-eyed Captain Carlos spotted a piece of floating debris, possibly a detached FAD. They found a nice ecosystem of Dorados has sprouted up underneath the floating shade.
Captain Carlos’ ingenuity was on display for this fun trip.
