Jeff Dupree and his group started out their trip on the Harvester with a wonderful Sailfish release.

After the trophy release they continued scoring, filling up the refrigerator in with bunches of big Dorado.

This big one zig-zagged to both sides of the boat but Captain Alex kept the angles lined up and the fish off of the motor.

All told they nabbed five nice Dodos, all with good size to them.

Dan Johnson was back in the thick of the action again on January 19 with Captain Fico reporting a nice Sailfish release supported by magnificent Mahi-Mahi filets on ice.

Mate Jhonny slid over to the Super Panga for this trip and put his excellent fish handling on display.

Dan returned to the Explorer on the 21st and put a hurtin’ on this beefy Dorado:

Our great friend Dr. Bart Carey enlisted the battleship for a blue water mission on January 21 and the Discoverer did not disappoint.

This mini-Marlin was a fun fish to fight, and Mate Juan Carlos was very careful with the fish-handling. After all we gotta catch this guy again in a few years when it’s a mammoth.

They rounded out the trip with the release of a nice sized Sailfish and the filleting of beefy Dorado.

The Wanderer is more than just the hardest-working boat in Central America; it’s also the preeminent spot for young anglers to learn the craft of sportfishing.

This fun-loving family had a boatload of fun with nice Ciero Mackerals, some fun Bonita, and a big Dorado.

Great work by the family friendly flagship!
