This big Rooster Fish release is a great photo for the memories, and they put dinner on the table with these nice big Red Groupers.
After several productive days offshore, Jason Fabre’s group stayed inshore with Captain William on July. The rods stayed bent with a nice haul of Red Groupers on ice.
There were several simultaneous hook-ups throughout the day.
Captain Fico kept the heat on during mid June. Check out this sweet array of tasty keepers:
Yellowfin Tunas are always a staple for us this time of year, as are these whopping big red Cubera Snappers:

Josh and Montana Crump are a great pair of fun-loving Tallahassee, FL based anglers, and they brought their sportive attitudes to the Explorer on June 5.
They scored big on the bottom with big Red Groupers.
The Crumps got married a year ago, and this trip to Nosara is their delayed honeymoon. Great work by this young couple.

The Explorer capitalized on a swarm of Red Groupers on the 4th with angler Brett Hartin.
They also scored a small Dorado to add diversity to the haul.
Captain David report some more fun inshore action from the sneaky switchblade inย mid-May, highlighted by this nice Red Grouper.
Kate Haley and her friends had a productive half day with Captain William on the 31st. They started off with a nice Sailfish release offshore:
Then they moved inshore and boated some groupers, perfect for sandwiches.
Captain William delivers the goods, and in just 5 hours at that!
The Adventurer finished the month with another unbelievable Sailfish release.
Captain David delivered the unimaginable in the morning, and then in the afternoon did more standard Adventurer-things…delivering tasty filets for his clients.

Captain Alex kept the Harvester inshore on the 19th. Chris and Charlotte Keane followed up their brilliant offshore success with some very unique catches.
This Congrio is always a fun catch; this fish/eel hybrid yields a white lobster-like meat that is second to none. Also it provides a unique fight as it is one of the few sea creatures that can swim backwards.
The rest of the day was dominated by Red Groupers, excellent for sandwiches and a bunch of fun to catch.
