Mark Rogers fished several times on the bigger boats in late May, but his haul on the Adventurer outpaced them all in term of size and species diversity.

The highlight of the day was this Rooster Fish release.

Then they scored a monster Cubera Snapper. A great fight which yields great filets.

They rounded out the filet bag with some nice Yellowfin Tunas and a Yellowtail Snapper.

Great work by the 23-foot Switchblade.

The Wanderer split their last day with Jake Jump’s group between inshore and offshore action. Early in the day they braved intermittent rains to snag two excellent Rooster Fish releases.

Afterwords they went offshore and found a pair of sweet meat fish; these Dorados and Yellowfin Tunas aren’t exactly scale-tippers, but they all look good on the dinner plate.

Great work by the flagship Wanderer!

Miriam Schroers’ family enjoyed all that our inshore fishery has to offer with an amazing performance on April 18.

After an excellent early-morning Cubera Snapper score, these anglers corned a medium-sized Wahoo who drifted a little too close to shore.

It’s unusual to catch a Wahoo this close to shore, but with Captain Alex it’s quite normal to score a nice Rooster Fish release.

Great work by Captain Alex and the Harvester!

Captain Alex kept the Harvester close to shore on the 17th and scored big.

Kerri Handrigan’s group nabbed the first Rooster fish release came early in the day, and a second found the hooks just before noon.

The third and final Rooster Fish came calling at 1230pm, right before the end of the trip…Three nice trophy releases in just a five-hour trip!
