The Adventurer brought yogis Josie and Celina up close to one of the most beautiful creatures in the ocean on the 31st.
This Rooster Fish release was the capstone of a thrilling 5 hour trip on the inshore panga. Great work!
Mark Rogers fished several times on the bigger boats in late May, but his haul on the Adventurer outpaced them all in term of size and species diversity.
The highlight of the day was this Rooster Fish release.
Then they scored a monster Cubera Snapper. A great fight which yields great filets.
They rounded out the filet bag with some nice Yellowfin Tunas and a Yellowtail Snapper.
Great work by the 23-foot Switchblade.
The Wanderer split their last day with Jake Jump’s group between inshore and offshore action. Early in the day they braved intermittent rains to snag two excellent Rooster Fish releases.
Afterwords they went offshore and found a pair of sweet meat fish; these Dorados and Yellowfin Tunas aren’t exactly scale-tippers, but they all look good on the dinner plate.

Derrell McCraryย is a multi-time FishingNosara Hall of Famer and he added to his resume early in the month with this awe-inspiring Rooster Fish release.
This massive monster was released after the photo. Great catch by Mr. McCrary and excellent fish-handling by Mate Johnson.
The Discoverer nabbed an awesome Sailfish release on May 4.
All smiles for angler Jerry Miller and his group. They returned the next day for more trophy fish releases.
After the sweet Sailfish, they topped off the trophy room with an excellent Rooster fish release.
Captain Alex delivered the good on a late-afternoon 2.5 hour trip with angler Tillman Saylor reporting a great Rooster Fish release.
That’s an amazing score in such a short time. Great work by the Harvester!
On April 19, Graeme Rockett kept up the streak of great inshore action on the Harvester with a sweet Cubera Snapper and followed in up with a nice Rooster Fish release.
With dinner filets in the icebox, the mega panga added to the trophy case with this excellent release:
New Jersey angler Danny Azzato and his daughter knocked it out of the park on their first day fishing on the Explorer. A nice Roosterfish release started off the trip.
Then in the afternoon they headed offshore and loaded up on big Yellowfin Tunas.
Looks like dinner is served for these Garden State anglers!
Miriam Schroers’ family enjoyed all that our inshore fishery has to offer with an amazing performance on April 18.
After an excellent early-morning Cubera Snapper score, these anglers corned a medium-sized Wahoo who drifted a little too close to shore.
It’s unusual to catch a Wahoo this close to shore, but with Captain Alex it’s quite normal to score a nice Rooster Fish release.

Captain Alex kept the Harvester close to shore on the 17th and scored big.
Kerri Handrigan’s group nabbed the first Rooster fish release came early in the day, and a second found the hooks just before noon.
The third and final Rooster Fish came calling at 1230pm, right before the end of the trip…Three nice trophy releases in just a five-hour trip!
