These Euros are absolutely amazing on the inshore species…on January 11 Captain David and the Adventurer iced the rare and elusive Congrio:
This hybrid fish/eel yields a white lobster-ish meat that is truly world class. Also they are fun to fight because they can swim backwards.
Later in the day they released a nice Rooster fish.
Another great day for Team de Wit and the Adventurer.
The Andre de Wit team kept rolling with a nice Rooster fish release on the 8th with Captain Fico on the Explorer.
We expect to see this little guy again once he’s all grown up!
Andre de Wit’s group has split up between the Adventurer and Explorer to maximize their coverage of the inshore reefs.
Captain David and the Adventurer scored several Snapper and other tasty reef dwellers:
The also boated a big Jack Crevelle and two medium-sized Rooster fish releases:
Great work by the extreme panga fishing tandem and the fearless Andre de Wit group!

The Wanderer pulled double-duty on December 26 with two half-days scheduled with two sets of clients.
First up was Chris Carroll who opted to stay near-shore in the morning.
A pair of Rooster fish releases were the highlight of the morning, with a beefy Amberjack on ice to round out the scorecard:
Captain Fico and Mate Kevin kept the Explorer inside on December 12 with clients Randy Struass and Craig Keneipp. Check out this excellent Rooster Fish release scored by the barroom brawler:
Nice fish handling by Mate Kevin to ensure that we’ll see this beast swimming again.
Team Arrich finished off their three days of fishing with more great action.
Here’s Angie’s Facebook post:
“Day #3 on the Wanderer with Captain William and Alex! Sailfish, 8 tuna and 2 Roosters! Thank you guys for an amazing 3 day adventure! You’ll be seeing us again for sure!”

We were stoked to welcome some new European friends for a week of great inshore action on the Adventurer.
These hard-fishing folks found us through Tightlines NL and brought their ‘A’ game to the waters around Garza Bay.
These big Rooster fish releases were a sign of great things to come.
Their haul included lots of Spanish Mackerels, Jack Crevalles, and the ultra-rare Blue Jack Trevelly.
