Nosara Paradise Rentals GM Javier Hernandez and Cheif Engineer Marino Lora brought their families along for a refreshing day of offshore fishing on February 12.
Theย Wanderer reports several Sailfish releases and a nice Dorado for the fishbox.
After a year of hardships, it’s great to see the ‘Pura Vida‘ spirit alive and well in Nosara.
Craig finished his three-day campaign on theย Harvester with a rod-bending day of action. Our chief mechanic Marino was on the real for this fun Dorado catch.
Later in the afternoon the mega panga hooked up a supercharged Sailfish.
This monster put on a show, but Mate Wilson got the leader and pulled him alongside. The Sailfish spit the hook and escaped safely with the last laugh.
Our amazing crew has been working hard these last few months on the construction of Casa Bianca, so when Javier asked if he could launch one of the boats for a relaxing fishing time the answer was “Of course!”
Captain Alex and Mate Wilson of the Harvester found some nice Yellowfin Tunas just a few miles off of the beach. Alexander, Grevan, and Marino were happy to have these filets on ice.
Then, they spotted a large macha of porpoises a little bit further offshore. A funny thing happened on the way to the porpoise pod.
A 400+lbs. Blue Marlin caught up with a single lure that Captain Alex left in the water while in transit, and struck it while theย Harvester was clipping along at 20 knots!
That is a new level of high-speed trolling! Safely battled by Foreman Dieter and released by Mate Wilson, this release is now part of the Harvester‘s untouchable legacy.
Javier and some of the Nosara Paradise Rentals staff put up the “Gone Fishing” sign in the office and take the afternoon to enjoy some family fishing on the Wanderer.
Dario nabbed this sandwich-sized Dorado, and then Yosef boated a nice Cubera Snapper.
However the boys were beat out by this monster Snapper:
Meanwhile over on the Explorer Captain Fico celebrated his birthday with his young son bending a rod with this Yellowtail Snapper:
Paul Duffy released a super Sailfish on April 23 on the flagship:
After the trip, our chief technician Marino came out to the Wanderer to replace the livewell pumps, and if you know Marino then you know he could return to shore without getting a hook wet:
The staff of Nosara Paradise Rentals took some much-deserved time off on the 26th to celebrate Marino, Alejandro, and Grevan’s birthdays. They joined Captain William on the Wanderer for an afternoon of inshore fishing and scored this sweet Rooster Fish release:
Later they enjoyed some tasty cake back at the campus.
