Scott Whitehead and his family had a sweet day on the Wanderer on March 11.
This Rooster fish release was a great start to the day, which also featured offshore action with high-flying Sailfish.
Safe releases by Mate Johnson as always.
“Captain William was great!” wrote Scott in an email, “2 Roosters and 4 Sail releases. Lost two sails as well so it would’ve been a huge day with those!”
After two days of record-breaking Sailfish releases the Discoverer stayed inshore on the 10th with client Mike Lydle and scored a pair a fat Rooster Fish releases.
Nice work by Captain Carlos and Mate Juan Carlos.

James Constable is a tough-as-nails Tampa, FL area angler who is no stranger to big catches offshore and near shore.
On March 5 Captain Alex got him going with several nice Rooster Fish releases.
In the afternoon they put away the spinning rods and headed offshore about 10 miles where the Sailfish were stacked up and hungry.
Great work in the cockpit by Mate Kevin to coordinate this high-flying action.
The Harvester booked a short 2.5 hour afternoon trip on the 4th, but that was plenty of time to knock the Rooster Fish off of this client’s bucket list.
A fish of a lifetime for some, but just quick work for the Mega Panga!
Javier and Marino took a little time off from running Nosara Paradise Rentals to ply the reefs off Garza with the Explorer.
After this early Rooster fish release, they loaded the fishbox with four tasty Snappers:

David Brand is my kind of fisherman: He arrived in Nosara for a five night stay and fished all four days from sunrise to sunset on the mega panga Harvester.
His dedication to fishing yielded rewards early and often with multiple Sailfish releases on the first day.
They also nabbed a Yellowfin tuna to keep them fed for the week.
On day three the Sailfish were thick as cord-wood and Captain Alex masterfully hunted down these high flyers.
After a whopping twelve Sailfish releases, David Brand opted to head inshore a little early to hunt another exotic trophy fish:
This 30+lbs. Rooster Fish was the perfect send-off to a great week of fishing on the Harvester.
The Explorer had a monster day on the 17th with three Sailfish releases, two Rooster Fish releases, and a big Dorado on ice.
Nice fish handling by Mate Kevin to ensure safe releases of these prized trophy fish!
It certainly looks like client Dante Quinine and his posse got their fishing fix on this trip!
Michael Lehman and his group found out the best part of fishing in Nosara…inshore and offshore on the same trip!
