Steven Nelson started his week of Costa Rica fishing with Captain William on the 13th. The scored a Sailfish release and a Yellowfin Tuna.
The Wanderer kept up the consistent action on the 12th with angler John Ritchie snagging two Sailfish releases.
Rickie Crews continued his scoring ways with a nice Sailfish release backed up with a big Dorado on the 12th.
All this on just a 5 hour trip!
The Wanderer welcomed Sean Turpin for a fun day of billfish battling. They nagged a pair of nice Sailfish releases.
Robert Gensel’s family joined Captain Fico on the 11th and they pulled off three Sailfish releases.
They also added a big Dorado for the dinner table.
For the finale they moved inshore and released this nice little Rooster Fish.
Great work by the barroom brawler Explorer.
Lisa Branca and April Rountree returned on the 10th for more fun fishing action.
Multiple Sailfish releases were backed up with a monster Dorado.
What a great catch! With the filets on ice, the ladies took a break from catching fish to move to the forward platform to catch some rays.
Another great day on the mega panga Harvester.
Andy and Wendy Alkire joined with Captain Alex on the 9th and they added to their Sailfish scorecard with multiple excellent releases.
Mate Wilson handled the Sailfish releases with aplomb, and the mega panga once again proved herself in blue-water battle.
There isn’t much blue water fishing in Kansas, but this group handled these monster like old pros.
Captain David has been excited ever since we told him that we are entering the 23-foot Adventurer into the Ship of Fools Tournament this April.
He has already started to warm up with this wonderful Sailfish released on February 9 with angler Dennis Gatenkunst

The day’s highlight was this very challenging Double Sailfish release. Great job by the crew to see to the safe release of both of these monsters.
