They also scored a Sailfish release later in the day.
Our great friend Nigel Phillips added to his legacy on March 26 as his group joined the Wanderer reporting a nice Sailfish release backed up with multiple Yellowfin Tunas.
Dan Johnson from Hatteras, NC took friends Cristobal, Alfonso, Santiago, and Justo from Las Brisas on the Discoverer.
They caught a Dorado, two Yellowfin Tunas, and released a nice Sailfish.
Chris and Catherine Elkins’ group finished up their week of action on the Explorer. Captain Antonio reports nice Sailfish releases.
They also added Yellowfin Tunas and Dorados for the filet bag.
Late in the trip they released a beautiful Rooster Fish.
Dan Johnson from Hatteras, NC took his friends Max, Alfonzo, and Jarrio for La Brasa Steakhouse for a fun day of fishing on the Wanderer.
They scored nice Dorados, multiple Red Groupers, and a pair of Sailfish releases.
The Wanderer had a big day on March 20 with Chris and Catherine Elkins’ family scoring early and often.
A swarm of Dorado scores was augmented by this high-powered Sailfish release.
On the Explorer, angler Erik Lyndaker’s group piled up the Dorado filets during their March 19th trip.
They also nabbed some Yellowfin Tunas for variety:
Of course the barroom brawler also battled a pair of Sailfish; both safe released as always.
Team Tedrick scored again on March 18 with the mega panga Harvester keeping the decks bloody and the fishbox full.
They also released a nice Sailfish.
Marine nature was on full display; check out this close encounter with a bottlenose dolphin.
They also hooked up this Shark, and cut the line before it took a finger!
We always encourage folks to fish for full eight-hour days to maximize the chance of catching, but sometime people like Ben Merkley stick with the 5 hour half day and make fools of us all.

Plus they scored a nice Dorado for the dinner table (lunch basket?) and were back on shore at noon. Incredible performance from the barroom brawler Explorer.
The Explorer and Steven Slack’s family had a blast on March 15 with Yellowfin Tuna an Dorado scores.
