They also scored a stack of Sailfish releases throughout the trip.
They closed out the day inshore with a lovely Rooster Fish release.
On July 14, the Discoverer welcomed Heath Cariker for a pair of excellent Sailfish releases.
Nigel Phillips’ group performed brilliantly on July 13 with Master Captain William reporting this excellent Blue Marlin release.
They spent the balance of the trip releasing Sailfish and scoring Yellowfin Tunas for the fishbox.
Our good friend Nigel Phillips has returned and as usual has enlisted a bunch of his fish-fighting friends for a great week of fishing.
They got started on July 12 with the Wanderer reporting an excellent Sailfish release and a tasty White Tuna.
The Wanderer score some nice bluewater catches on July 8. This sweet Sailfish topped the scorecard.
They spent the balance of the trip loading up on Yellowfin Tunas.
Shawn Nevins battled a bad Blue Marlin on July 5. Mate Elias had the leader several times (a legal release) before this monster spit the hook and escaped.
They also scored a traditional Sailfish release later in the trip.
Captain Wilson pulled double-duty on July 4 with two half day trips. In the morning session Corinna Alandt released Sailfish and brought home several tasty Yellowfin Tunas.
The Adventurer started off the month right with an ELEVEN Yellowfin Tuna performance posted by angler John Gilmore on July 3.
The only break in the action was filet work; after all we need room on the deck to catch more fish!
