The big boats are back in action, with angler Jon Cira bringing a big group for three days of fishing in late October.

On the first day back the Discoverer reports a Sailfish backed up with several Yellowfin Tunas.

Here was Jon’s email to us: “First day of fishing was awesome for both boats, lots a schooly tuna, sailfish and a big blue.”
The Harvester is back in action and scored wonderful Yellowfin Tunas with angler Jim Bruner.

This group wrangled multiple sweet Yella Fellas throughout the day.

The Harvester scored huge on September 7 with tons of great catches. The highlight was this monster Yellowfin Tuna:

This well-rounded trip also included a sweet Sailfish release:

The team added to the filet bag diversity with some small Yellowfin Tunas and Dorados.

So much for the ‘off-season’ !
The Sims group finished off their trip on August 27 with a fun day in the sun on the Discoverer.

They were paced by the Wanderer offshore, but pulled up when the keen-eyed Captain Carlos spotted this floating debris:

The large fish were elusive but the big battleship stayed busy with a large quantity of smaller catches.

They had a sushi appetizer to celebrate the good catches, then contributed their sizable haul of fish to Maria for a family-style dinner back at Nosara Paradise Rentals.

Great trip for Team Sims!
Darrell and Teresa Sims scored big on their second day of fishing with Captain William.

Big Yellowfin Tunas were the order of the day, the flagship Wanderer loaded up.

Mark caught a nice Sailfish in the middle of the trip.

Then it was back to the Yellowfin Tunas.

Great day of action for these fun-loving Texas anglers. Looks like dinner is served!

The Discoverer scored this beautiful Rooster Fish release on August 26 with angler Keith McMahon.

For the dinner table they nagged this Cubera Snapper and a Yellowfin Tuna.

Captain David finished off the 2019 season on August 26 with excellent inshore action.

This sweet Snapper was joined by some small Yellowfin Tunas and Red Groupers.

Excellent send-off for the sneaky inshore switchblade Adventurer.
Keith McMahon and his boys knocked big Blue Marlin off the bucket list on the 23rd.

Captain Carlos reports that this wonderful release was backed up by some big Yellowfin Tunas.

Great work by the big battleship Discoverer.
The Explorer delivered the trip of a lifetime for Jess King and Elizabeth Rasch on August 22. Here’s how she told the story on social media:

“Our last day in Costa Rica was an all day off shore fishing trip, and it was one of the best ones! Elizabeth Rasch and I both caught a Blue Marlin!!”

“Hers was 450 lbs and the biggest catch of the day out of all the boats! Took her an hour to get it in!!”
“Shortly after I got another Yellow Fin Tuna!!”

“This has been the most amazing trip of a lifetime!! I will be returning!!”
