The Harvester continued championship-level fishing on the 23rd with Angie Taylor’s group scoring early and often.





A great Sailfish was backed up by several excellent Yellowfin Tunas.






The big fish of the day was an awesome Dorado.








Mark Krier joined the flagship on April 22 and Captain William is stoked to report some great catches.


A nice Sailfish release topped the scorecard, and they also nagged a stack of Yellowfin Tuna filets for the dinner table.

Amazing work by Captain Carlos and Mate Kevin to overcome this monster.
The Wanderer continued her hot fishing in mid-April with Jeff Kirk, Tyson Muenich, and Brad Taylor scoring big on multiple species.






A trio of Sailfish releases marked up the scorecard early in the 8-hour trip, and was also augmented by this nice-sized Yellowfin Tuna:

The final hurrah was this sweet Rooster fish release, scored late in the day much closer to shore than the earlier catches.

On April 14 the Explorer got into some serious fish. First up was this nice Sailfish release:



Then they followed up the trophy release with an excellent batch of Yellowfin Tuna filets.



All in a day’s work for Captain Fico and the barroom brawler Explorer.
Leo Folse came back for more mega panga mayhem on the 15th, starting with a nice Sailfish release:




A wonderful Dorado followed, providing excellent eating for this fun Florida fishing couple.




The Wanderer provided a great ending to Dennis Paul’s trip with a nice third day of fishing on the 11th.



More great Sailfish releases populated the scorecard for this FishingNosara Hall of Famer.


They also nabbed a small Yellowfin; perfect for celebratory sushi!

Returning FishingNosara Hall of Famer Dennis Paul brought his family for a blue water campaign onboard the mighty Wanderer.



Three early Sailfish releases got things rolling.





Team Paul added several nice Yellowfin Tunas to their haul:


The clear highlight was this Double Sailfish release; Great work by Captain William and the mighty flagship!

The Harvester and angler John Baumgart scored the first big haul of the season for Yellowfin Tuna.





We have scored scattered Yellowfins this year, but not this big or numerous.




This is a great sign of the second high season which is right around the corner.


The last fish of the day was also the last fish ever for this rod which snapped off under pressure…that’s what happens when you battle the world’s baddest fish!
However the fish didn’t fare much better than the rod:
