Captain William got on a roll with consistent Yellowfin Tuna scores, and on June 7 nabbed an array of large Yella Fellas.
These anglers led by Christopher McGowen were the beneficiary of this Yellowfin Tuna bounty.
The porpoise pods have led to way to the Yellowfin Tuna schools and Captain William has mastered the art of outpacing the predators to snag the Tuna from right under their snouts.

They spent the rest of the trip relentlessly pounding a school of Yellowfin Tuna. Looks like dinner is served!

These 20+lbs. Yellowfin Tunas are indicative of the kind of consistent catches being delivered by the Super Panga.
The Harvester welcomed one of FishingNosara’s oldest friends Roche Jaggeli of Playa Avellanas for a great day of action on June 6.
Roche has fished with us since the very beginning of FishingNosara and it’s always a treat when he comes south to visit us.
The day’s haul was highlighted by three big Yellowfin Tunas (60lbs., 34lbs., and 26lbs.) and of course the MASSIVE 54lbs. Dorado.
Roger Chambers was back for more on May 30 and they finished out their week in Nosara with a wonderful four-species day.
After this early day Rooster Fish release, Captain William got a call on the radio from Captain Carlos the the Discoverer was on a kettle of Yellowfin Tunas offshore.
The mid-afternoon lead to several Dorados and Yellowfin Tunas on ice for Team Chambers. The final score of the day with this strong Sailfish release:
A flight of Marlin Birds lead the way home for the mighty flagship.
Northeast angler Robert Volpetti came to Nosara hoping to score Tunas without the overnight boat ride, and these fellas showed up ready for action.
Nice work by Captain William on the flagship to continue delivering consistent results.
The flagship kept the good times rolling with angler Clayton Mangum and his posse on May 28.
Once again Captain William followed the feeding porpoises to the Yella Fella Gold Mine!

The Wanderer welcomed Greg Fritsch and his posse for a bunch of fun fishing action on May 27.
These boys braved some showers in the morning but the weather cleared up later, just in time for an excellent Sailfish release.
Captain Alex welcomed Javier out for an afternoon of ‘company research’ on May 27, and the mega panga loaded up on the suddenly-plentiful Yellowfin Tunas.
All of these Yella Fellas is a great sign moving forward as we enter our second season.
