Theย Discoverer and Stephen Kramr’s group scored an awesome Yellowfin Tuna on July 28.
Our dear friend Roche from just up the road in Playa Avellanas reserved the only open date the Harvester had open in late July, and to say he picked wisely would be an understatement.
This 150+lbs. Yellowfin Tuna is the largest of the season so far, and it wasn’t alone…the behemoth was accompanied by a very respectable Yellowfin Tuna and a BIG Dorado.
The flagshipย Wanderer and Master Captain William welcomed Chris Kelley’s family for a fantastic day of blue water action on July 27.
The scored this MONSTER Yellowfin Tuna early in the trip and before Mate Elias could clean the fish, a swarm of Sailfish torpedoed into the spread.
The Kelley Family worked together to best these blue-water beasties.
Captain Carlos and Mate Kevin delivered and excellent Sailfish release on the 27th with angler Clayton Leverett.
Captain Antonio delivered several amazing billfish releases for Rodolfo Cienfuegos and Luis Ibarra’s group on July 26. The top of the scorecard is this wonderful Blue Marlin release:
Theย Explorer also added a nice Sailfish release later in the day.
Keith Benson scored an absolute MONSTER Dorado with Captain Carlos on July 26.
On July 25 theย Harvester welcomed Greg Safer and his family for a knock-down, drag-out Dorado campaign.
These are some of the biggest examples of their haul, as Captain Wilson reports that they eventually lost count of the catches.
Good problem to have!
Rodolfo Cienfuegos and Luis Ibarra joined up with Master Captain William on July 25, and the mighty flagship put them neck-deep in a blue water battle with BIG Dorados.
The catches came in numbers, and they seemed to grow bigger as the day went on.
The Master Captain only emerges for photographs for very special catches, and this deck-sweeper Dorado fits the bill:
The Discoverer and Larry Schenavar’s family had a wonderful day of action on July 25.
