The Discoverer welcomed James Bean’s for a day of offshore action on April 24, and the big battleship got into a scrap with a big Blue Marlin.
They also nabbed a nice Dorado for the dinner table.

The Discoverer welcomed James Bean’s for a day of offshore action on April 24, and the big battleship got into a scrap with a big Blue Marlin.
They also nabbed a nice Dorado for the dinner table.
Captain Fico and the Explorer closed out the month of April with a flurry of great catches.
In addition to a bunch of nice Sailfish releases, the barroom brawler upped the ante with a Double Sailfish release.
Add to that a bunch of big Dorados and Yellowfin Tunas…who says you need a big boat to catch big fish in Costa Rica?
Captian David stayed busy on the Adventurer after the tournament. He stayed inshore on the 22nd for some fun Tuna fishing.
The Harvester stayed hot on the 21st, with a nice Double Sailfish release highlighting the trip.
For the dinner table they added a tasty Dorado.
The Discoverer kept up the pressure on the 20th with an excellent array of Dorados and Yellowfin Tunas on ice.
Captain Alex posted a banner day with angler Colorado angler Chris Vargoshe. The day’s scorecard was dotted with superb Sailfish releases.
The action was intense, but Mate Wilson and Captain Alex were in the mood for the feud. All these Sailfish were safely released after their capture.
They totaled TEN Sailfish releases, backed up with seven Yellowfin Tuna and a small Dorado.
Amazing work by the mighty mega panga Harvester.
The Discoverer fought a swarm of Super Sailfish on the 19th.
Excellent fish handling means safe live releases for these billfish.
What a fun day of big time billfishing.
On April 19, the Harvester stayed on the Yellowfin Tuna bite while also mixing in some super Sailfish releases.
Once dinner was safely on ice, the mega panga headed out to Sailfish City.
Our new friend Martin Cooper finished his two week stay in Nosara by achieving a bucket-list worthy Rooster Fish release.
