Things slowed up a bit on June 9, the Harvester persisted and scored a small Dorado.

Great report from Heidi and Jim O’Calligan:
It was pouring rain this morning when we got up and it certainly looked like today was going to be a total washout. After a 2 hour delay, the rain stopped and it didn’t rain on us again for the rest of the day.

Turned out to be an outstanding day with Captain Antonio and Mate Fito!!!! We got 5 yellowfin tuna from 30 to 35 pounds. Jim got the biggest. I got 3, two of which were at least 30. Those were a lot of fun.

And, check out the size of the head of this sailfish that Jim caught. Captain estimated it was 150 pounds. I caught one about a 120.. They were the biggest sailfish either of us have ever caught. And they both gave us a very good fight!

We got video of everything!! We are spent to say the least!! What an amazing day that started out looking like it was going to be a washout!!!!
We kept 2 bags of tuna for dinner, gave one bag to the mommy who lives in the house on the beach and the rest went to Antonio and Fito and their families.. Again, what an amazing day what an amazing day this turned out to be!!!!!
Kevin Gallagher’s group waited out the rains on the morning of June 8, and once the weather passed this group of South Florida anglers got down to business on the Wanderer.

Their haul included five Yellowfin Tunas. Perfect for the dinner table!

Northeast Florida angler Brian Burke joined the Discoverer on June 8, and despite a brief rain delay at the start of the trip still caught some nice fish.

This Sailfish release was augmented by a pan-sized Yellowfin Tuna.

Master Captain William and Mate Elias orchestrated a Double Sailfish hook-up and release on June 6.

Great job by Newland Crocker’s group.
Our old friend Newland Crocker nagged a world-class Blue Marlin release on June 6.

They also scored a Yellowfin Tuna for the dinner table.

Awesome work by Captain Wilson and the Harvester.
The Discoverer scored a beautiful Sailfish release on June 6 with Kevin Sedore and Jackie Nelson. Check out this beauty:

The Discoverer stayed inshore on June 5 and scored a nice Red Grouper and a tasty Congrio.

The Wanderer had a fun day on June 4 with Jeff Williams’ family. They scored some small fish throughout the day, but the highlight was a prolonged battle with a BIG Blue Marlin.

The Harvester stayed on the prowl on June 4 and score a small Wahoo and small Dorado.
