Captain William welcomed David Schwertner to the Wanderer on February 5 for a fun day of offshore action.
Several sweet Sailfish releases dotted the scorecard, and a swarm of low-flying Dorados filled the fishbox.
Shane Whealton and his father joined Captain David on the 4th and posted one of the best days in the eight-year history of the Adventurer.
This amazingly large Rooster Fish release was the start of this legendary day, which also yielded one of the biggest Jack Crevalles we have ever caught.
The afternoon was dotted with small Tuna catches, highlighted by a pair of 20lbs. Yellowfin Tunas.
Captain David runs this boat alone (meaning no mate) which means the grisly work of fileting this boatload of fish falls to him.

On February 4 Billy Meeks’ group finished off their amazing week of great fishing with an excellent send-off.
These Sailfish releases were augmented by a few small Yellowfin Tunas.

The Wanderer welcomed the Wolf family for a 5 hour fishing/snorkeling hybrid trip on February 1.
They stayed in Garza Bay and nagged a few small Tunas. Around midday the tide fell and reveled the hidden Pink Island near the western point of the bay.
What a fun day of fishing and exploring on the Wanderer.

Captain David is a master of the inshore spots near Garza Bay, and on the 31st his clients scored a nice pile of Yellowfin Tunas.

Lauren Frederick’s group finished out their 3-day fishing campaign with another fun day of offshore action.
They nagged several Sailfish releases, then added a nice Yellowfin Tuns for their end-of-trip dinner. Most importanly, they have a bunch of great fishing memories to last a lifetime.
Ted Markow’s family returned on the 30th for a fantastic day of offshore fishing on the Discoverer.
They pulled off this super-challenging Double Sailfish relese, then added a solo Sailfish release later in the trip.
A tasty Yellowfin Tuna rounded out the haul for Team Markow.
