Alex Hernandez’ family kept up their great run of catches with this behemoth of a Yellowfin Tuna on August 4.



With the meat in the cooler melting ice, the Harvester scored this nice Sailfish release later in the trip.



Big Yellowfin Tuna catches were reported by the Discoverer on August 4. Anglers Frank Doss and Trey Taparauskas.



This amazing fish was followed by a sweet Sailfish release.

Trey Taparauskas and Frank Doss lit up the scoreboard on August 3 with Captain William reporting a four-species day. First up was this incredible Blue Marlin release:




Then the Yellowfin Tuna swarmed the flagship’s spread and was no match for the mighty Wanderer.







A random Dorado also found his way to the fish box.

The final fish of the day was this awesome Sailfish battle and release.



Alex Hernandez and his family hit it out of the park on August 3, with the Harvester reporting multiple Sailfish releases and Yellowfin Tunas on ice.

Captain Carlos welcomed Rickie Crews’ family for a great day of blue water action on August 3.


Big angry Sailfish were ready for a fight, and the battleship Discoverer was in the mood for a feud.

Captain William pulled double-duty on August 2. The morning 5 hour session featured this stunning Blue Marlin release by angler Scott Swanson.




High off of this amazing catch, the mighty Wanderer welcomed Martin Claurl’s family for a fun afternoon of rod-bending:



This group left the boat flush with Yellowfin Tuna filets, plus added this unusual Needlefish for the ceviche tray.

The end of the mighty flagship’s ten hour day was this send-off from a monster Whale (baleena en espanol). What a treat:


David Sohm added an extra half day to his Costa Rican fishing adventure by enlisting the Explorer for an inshore assault on August 2.






This monster Rooster fish was followed by a smaller variant; both safely released after the photos as always.




Not for releasing was this GIGANTIC Cubera Snapper:

Tiffany Caouette’s family nagged a monster Cubera Snapper on August 2 with Captain David on the Adventurer.


What a great catch! Clearly it kept this group fed all week long:


David Sohm’s group performed wonderfully on the Discoverer in late July. The highlight was these super Sailfish releases.


Dan Christine and his group scored huge fish with Captain Alex on July 29. They started up with several nice-sized Yellowfin Tunas:





The real monster came later in the trip.
