Captain David kept his foot on the gas on April 9 with a sweet Amberjack catch.

The Adventurer welcome two of our best and oldest friends for a fun trip on March 30. Danny Baker and ‘Coconut’ Harry Heinke piled up a big pile of Red Groupers with Captain David.

MYSTERY FISH ALERT!

Martin Cooper caught this unusual looking creature on March 29 with the Adventurer. It looks like a rock, has a lure like an angler-fish, and has feet like a frog.

Any Marine Biologists out there want to let us know what it is?

Later in the trip, Martin scored multiple very tasty Red Grouper.

Then he caught a big Corvina, except that while he was reeling it in another fish snatched the back half…oh well, what’s left should make good ceviche!

Tom Fox scored a two-for-one Red Grouper scored on the 19th using a double-hooked rig:
Twice the catch is twice as nice!

The Adventurer continued to score nice bottom fish on March 18. Matthew Ansel and his son nagged this nice Red Grouper:

Captain David delivered a big bag of delectable filets on March 16.

Red Grouper is famous for its rich meat for sandwiches, and the fish/eel Congrio yields a lobstertail-esque filet that is out of sight!
Captain David has an amazing skill for scoring big fish on his little boat. The Adventurer scored this 30+lbs. Red Grouper on the 14th.

Normally these fish are in the 8lbs.-15.lbs range…these are true monsters!

Lars Thorsen had a big day on the Adventurer on March 12, with Captain David reporting a big Dorado backed up with a nice Yellowfin Tuna.
