Captain David closed out the month of January with a BANG as the 23-foot Adventurer scored another big billfish release.

Client Zyan Fernades was the angler against this big Sailfish…what an achievement for the sneaky little panga boat!

Captain David kept the good times rollin’ on January 27 with a boat load of fun fresh filets.

These big Jack Crevelles came early in the trip with some late-day rod bending provided by these Bonitas:

The advantage if fishing five times a week is that Captain David can apply one day’s success to the next trip. He took Antonio Cantillo to the same spot he’s been working all week and once again scored:

The highlight was this big Amberjack, which was backed up by a big Jack Crevelle and a small White Tuna.

The next day Captain David and Paul Fontaine found this manhole-cover sized Pompano…can you say ‘ceviche’?

Captain David reported four White Tunas ranging between 8lbs. and 12lbs. each on his January 25 trip with Mr. and Mrs. George Brayfield.

This filets are very tasty and a favorite for sushi in particular.
David Martinez took a quick trip on the Adventurer on January 19 and nabbed a dinner plate-sized Yellowfin Tuna.

Not bad for just 2.5 hours on the water!
Captain David prowled the reef in mid-January with a bundles of excellent inshore scores.

These small Bonitas were weaponized to nab this wonderful Rooster Fish release:

The Adventurer also nabbed this 30+lbs. Amberjack…ceviche time!

The blue water came incredibly close to shore in first week of January, and Captain David of the Adventurer took advantage of the near shore clarity to capture the biggest fish in the history of the boat.

Client Joseph Cannistraci hooked up this MASSIVE 350lbs. Blue Marlin and fought it all the way to the boat.

Captain David performed the single-handed leader release and let this fish swim back out to deeper waters where it belongs…excellent work by the 23-foot switchblade Adventurer!
Captain David welcomed client Jacob Quellman for a productive half day inshore which yielded this excellent White Tuna:

We almost never see this uncommon Tuna species grow so large, and the meat will produce excellent ceviche.
Captain David knows how to put dinner on the table…check out this mammoth Broomtail Grouper scored by the 23-foot pocket knife Adventurer:

Thanks definately more than a few sandwiches!
It was all about ceviche this month with a nice selection of Pompano, Snapper, and Jacks

You don’t have to go far off the coast of Garza to find good-eating fish, proved by the Adventurer‘s results this month.

Great work by the inshore mastro, Captain David!
