Captain David’s rampaging ways have continued this week on the Discoverer. The hits have come in fast moving waves, like this pair of wonderful Sailfish releases.
The new battleship also picked up a pair of Rooster fish which were released as usual.
Katrisha Seata blew into town for one night, stayed at Nosara Paradise Rentals and went straight to Garza for a full day of fishing on the battleship Discoverer.
The elected to stay near shore and check the bottom for reef-dwellers, and were rewarded with this mammoth Rainbow Snapper:
They also scored on Yellowfin Tuna and small Dorados.
Nice haul from the fish market by Captain David and the Discoverer.
While Chuck and Rick were battling two Marlins over on the Wanderer, the rest of the Good Doctors put in big work on the battleship Discoverer. The highlight was this MASSIVE Black Marlin which took both Mate Keven and Mate Fico to subdue.
The followed-up with a nice Sailfish release and a couple of tasty Yellowfin Tunas.
Great work by Captain David on another legend-building performance.
The great fishing continues for Captain Sergio Atanes’ Costa Rica Adventure group. On June 8 the Discoverer welcomed Jack Walker, Alice Trautman, Sue Garcia and Beverly Lanier for some great inshore action.ย
A great trio of Cubera Snappers is the perfect filet haul to keep the party going on shore.
The big battleship Discoverer posted a MASSIVE Marlin release on May 31.
Captain David’s view from the top gives him the competitive edge when big billfish come calling.
Nice work by Mate Kevin to hold on tight to this monster long enough for some pictures. A clean safe release with the cherry on top of this near-perfect fishing accomplishment.
The Discoverer took over two years to rebuild and refit, but it only took Matty twenty minutes to nab his first billfish on the new battleship.
Bridget also got in on the action with the smallest Sailfish release on record…think about the skills exhibited by Captain David on the pitch bait to force-feed a rigged ballyhoo down this tiny gullet.
All smiles on the big battleship Discoverer for Matt and Bridget!
Captain David has brought his decades of fish-finding skills to the new battleship, and the results have been immediate and astounding. On May 28 he locked up two big bad billfish for his clients.
Mate Kevin released this Sailfish at 10:30am (above) and scored a nice Blue Marlin just after 1pm.
The Discoverer has come out of the gate like a thoroughbred and we can’t wait to see more multiple Marlin mania from the battleship.
Chris McLaughlin and his group threw down the gauntlet with a gang from Sailfish City, but Captain David and Mate Kevin had their back…Check out these billfish conquests:
Captain David has been a legend in Garza for the last half-decade, and now that he is armed with a battleship there is no escape for these Sailfish hooligans.
Check out this great email from Chris:
Craig,
Getting back to reality really sucks. After arriving back home and climbing into my bed at 2am, only to get up at 5am to get back to the grind made me appreciate my short trip to Nosara even more.
We all had a great time and I have to say you truly run a First Class operation! From arrival to departure, all was seamless; shuttle service, office staff, house crew, and of course the top notch crew of the Discoverer.
I have to tip my hat to Captain David and Mate Kevin. I have fished on many boats all over and would certainly put them up against anyone. Great personable guys who work hard to make your customers happy; catching fish was just a bonus.
I want to thank you again for everything and I hope to be back soon for some more of Jenny’s Mahi Cerviche.
