This was augmented by a nice pile of Yellowfin Tunas; not the biggest fish ever but super-good eating fish.
The big battleshipย Discoverer kept up the good fishing with angler Oliver Tilton reporting a nice Sailfish release backed up by some excellent Dorados on ice.
Captain Carlos and Mate Kevin returned to the blue water on November 1st with anglers from Nicholas Gonzalez’ group.

Theย Discoverer closed the book on the 2021 season with two excellent Rooster Fish releases for angler Carter Hanin’s group.
Pretty amazing, especially considering this was only a 5 hour trip.

On August 18, angler Rob Whiteย scored two very memorable catched on the Discoverer.
This excellent Rooster Fish release is a great add to the trophy case, and a late-day Dorado filled up the icebox.
Rickie Crews stayed inshore on August 11 and scored an amazing Rooster Fish release.
For the dinner table they added a nice collection of small Yellowfin Tunas.
Theย Discoverer and angler Sean Jackson scored big on the 9th.
A few Sailfish releases were backed-up with a BIG White Tuna. These guys rarely get larger that 15lbs. but this one is a really tasty whopper:

Fishing has been a little slow in early-August, but the crafty Captain Carlos still coaxed a few nice Sailfish into the spread.
