On July 15, Florida angler Nigel Phillips scored big on the battleship Discoverer.
This monster Dorado is a real treat…clearly the Summer High Season continues to produce!
The Discoverer welcomed Nigel Phillips’ group for a fun day of action on the 14th. The highlight was a nice Sailfish release.
Then for the dinner table they added some nice Yellowfin Tuna filets.
The big battleship Discoverer nagged a pair of Sailfish release on July 7.
Great hunting by Captain Carlos and excellent fish handling by Mate Kevin.
The Discoverer pulled of the very difficult Double Sailfish release on July 6 with angler Craig Moss.
They added a standalone Sailfish release earlier in the trip.
Two excellent Sailfish releases were posted by Jeff Barton on July 5.
The Discoverer also hooked-up to a big Marlin, but it bit the hook in half just alongside the boat.
The Discoverer brought home the bacon on July 4 as Craig Moss’ family nagged a truly giant Dorado.
They also had two Sailfish releases for the scorecard.
Great work by Captain Carlos and the big battleship.
On June 29, the big battleship Discoverer bested a big Black Marlin with angler Troy Smith.
What an amazing catch and release by Captain Carlos and Mate Kevin.
The Discoverer and angler Chris Pfeiffer scored a pair of sweet Sailfish release on their 5 hour trip on June 28.
As the offshore bite cooled late in June, the big battleship Discoverer brought her batteries inshore and performed a nice Rooster Fish release.
The trophy fish was augmented with catches of Jack Crevalle and Dorado for the dinner table. Excellent work from Patrick Maloney’s group.
Troy Smith added to his legacy with this exellent Sailfish release with Captain Carlos on June 26.
