The Tallahassee Offshore Mafia is back in the house, led by returning Hall of Famer Chuck Harris.
These Florida anglers have made fishing in a June a tradition for several years and are primed for another great week of action.
They scored some nice-sized Yellowfin Tunas and Dorados to start the trip, then finished the day inshore with a wonderful Cubera Snapper:
Kevin Reed found a beautiful Sailfish lurking offshore on his June 7th trip with Captain Carlos. Take a look at this fighter:
Great work by Mate Kevin (on loan from the Harvester) on the safe live release.
Captain Carlos delivered the fish-of-a-lifetime for client Mike Burke on June 5…get a load of this excellent Black Marlin:
Earlier in the trip they scored another billfish with this Sailfish. Great work!
The Discoverer lit up the scoreboard with client Craig Moss reporting a wonderful Black Marlin release:
This South Carolina angler worked in tandem with Captain Carlos and Mate Kevin to release this wonderful billfish.
Later in the trip Team Moss nabbed this sweet Sailfish release.
Captain Carlos finished off the month of May with a strong day of action with angler Greg Fritsch.
They nabbed a Sailfish release and filled the fishbox with three 12lbs. Yellowfin Tunas and this 20+lbs. Dorado:
The Discoverer welcomed angler Catherine for a morning half-day trip and came away with some excellent Dorado filets:
Captain Carlos stayed on the Yellowfin Tuna school on May 26, putting thirteen tasty fish on ice with angler Greg Fritsch. Here are some of the larger specimens:
The Discoverer struck again on May 25 with eight nice-sized Yellowfin Tunas:

The battleship Discoverer found gold on its May 23 trip with anglers Rick Riley and David BiStarkey.
The rains early in the month has washed dead trees offshore, and wherever they float an entire marine ecosystem grows in their shadow.
Captain Carlos circled this tree for the better part of the day and piled the fishbox high with five 20lbs. Dorados and twenty 5lbs. Dorados…do the math on that one!
