Ken Burns returned for more action on September 7. After marking up the Discoverer‘s billfish release scorecard, they pursued meat fish and came away with seven beautiful Yellowfin Tunas.

The Discoverer is powering through the so-called rainy season with a great day of fishing with angler Ken Burns on September 6. The highlight of the day was this beautiful Blue Marlin.
They also scored a nice Double Sailfish release:

On August 28th the Discoverer found a great way to sweep the decks:

The Discoverer welcome angler Rene Schaub for a full day of blue water action on August 27. A pair of Sailfish releases were the highlights of the morning:

Billy Starnes had a big day on August 26 with Captain Carlos reporting multiple Sailfish releases backed up with a boatload of filets.
The billfish releases are truely memorable, however the bellies were filled by these big Yellowfin Tunas…and that massive Dorado on the deck.

The Discoverer welcomed angler Tim Seyda for an offshore trip on August 21. Mr. Seyda has fished out of Garza for almost a decade, however this was his first trip with the big battleship.
Captain Carlos delivered the goods with a multitude of Dorados on deck.
They also added this beefy Yellowfin Tuna.

Stephen Paul Green joined the Discoverer on the 20th and scored one of the biggest Yellowfin Tunas of the season…clearly the second high season is is full effect!
According to the sling-scale, this monster weighs 112lbs.! Great work by Captain Carlos and the big battleship.
