Mike Duncan stayed inshore on the 9th and scored not one but TWO Rooster Fish releases on the battleship Discoverer.

The Discoverer nabbed six Yellowfin Tunas on the 8th…none of great size but these filets add up to a nice haul, plus the action kept Mike Duncan’s whole posse stoked.
Charles Baker brought a big group to the Discoverer on the 4th, an the light up the scoreboard with three nice Sailfish releases.
They didn’t leave empty handed; In addition to the safe billfish releases they nabbed this nice Dorado for the dinner table.
Great work by Captain Carlos and the big battleship.
Bridget Cunningham brought her family down for a fishing adventure, and a big time was had by all, especially her son who is (according to her) an “aspiring angler”.
Aspire no more young man! You have cut your teeth as a big time blue water angler.
Our great friend Bart Carey joined the Discoverer on the 31st and scored perhaps the biggest Dorado of the season so far. Check out this monster:

Our old pals Ken and Brenda Russell are back in action and brought some new friends Jeff and Cindy Strom along this time. These seasoned blue water warriors stayed inshore on the Discoverer for this excellent Rooster Fish release:

The Discoverer welcomed Juergen Puetter for a day of offshore action and the battleship yielded these tasty Dorados.

Andy Nuber pulled off one of the toughest feats in blue water fishing: The Double Sailfish release!
Aided by Mate Kevin and Mate Wilson, both of these creatures were safely released.
Later on they hooked up a nice Dorado for the dinner table.
Our new friend Nick Lowe came to Nosara for a fishing adventure, and they chose Captain Carlos and the Discoverer as the platform for blue water action on March 13.
Big Dorado were on the menu, and a late-day Sailfish release was the icing on the cake.
The Discoverer suffered a setback during her trip on February 4 as one of her Yamaha F150’s blew up.
This oil pump assembly cracked, and in a matter of seconds seized up the crankshaft, flywheel, and stator.
We expect to have the battleship repaired and back in the water this week.
