Trey Hardy finished February on a high note with a wonderful Marlin release, and he started February with another legendary trophy fish release.
Everyone gathered around to marvel at this sweet Rooster Fish.

The Discoverer struck again on the 23rd with John Difillipo’s group reporting two nice Sailfish releases backed up by a big Dorado:

The Discoverer brought in another sweet Sailfish release on February 8. Look at the size of this monster:

This big Dorado was a welcome treat that found it’s way to the dinner table back at Nosara Paradise Rentals for an end-of-week fiesta:
Captain Carlos ended a white-hot month of fishing action with a trio of Sailfish releases on the 30th with returning client Art Jones.
Each of these monsters are world-class, and to nab three in one day is quite a feat.
Excellent fish handling by Mate Juan Carlos to keep everyone safe and smiling.
The Discoverer welcomed Carl Quinn’s group for a fun offshore romp on the 28th and they loaded the fishbox with three excellent Dorados.
Even the youngsters got in on the action, evidenced by this 5lbs. Bonita:
The Discoverer released a nice Sailfish on the 22nd with Captain Carlos reporting great action on the nearby blue water.
Pretty sweet when the fish is almost as big as the angler! Nice fish handling by Mate Juan Carlos to ensure the safety of this majestic creature.
Our great friend Dr. Bart Carey enlisted the battleship for a blue water mission on January 21 and the Discoverer did not disappoint.
This mini-Marlin was a fun fish to fight, and Mate Juan Carlos was very careful with the fish-handling. After all we gotta catch this guy again in a few years when it’s a mammoth.
They rounded out the trip with the release of a nice sized Sailfish and the filleting of beefy Dorado.
