Captain Alex had a bountiful trip on November 14 with angler Matthew Tolley reeling in multiple nice Sailfish.

These pelagics were lined up like a column of soldiers, keeping Captain Alex and Mr. Tolley busy all day long.

Most importantly, all of these monsters were safely handled and released, due to the care expressed by Mate Wilson and Captain Alex.

It wasn’t all trophy fish releases. Matthew went home with a big bag of fish filets thanks to these delicious Dorados.

Great work by the mega panga Harvester!

Tyler Allen took to the seas on November 11 and the fish were lined up and waiting.

Captain Alex hooked up a some great Sailfish releases which were the highlight of the trip, then backed it up some excellent Dorados.

You can work up an appetite catching all these fish, but at least wait until it’s filleted before eating!

Awesome work by the mega panga!

The Wanderer got in on the swarms of Dorados on November 9 with anglers Mark Scott, Diane Turner, Andrew Lipps, and Eli Bedran stocking up on Mahi-Mahi filets.

These monsters are a welcome surprise for this early in the season, and makes us very optimistic moving forward.

They closed the trip on a high note, with this excellent Blue Marlin release.

Great work by these fun-loving Florida anglers.

On November 9 the Discoverer welcomed three great couples for a big day of blue water action.

Dorado scores abounded for anglers Bill and Luisa Harris, Joanne and Joe Giovinco, and Joe and Idy Arriaga.

The rest of the Harris group was nearby on the Wanderer and snapped this great photo.

Great work by Captain Carlos on the big battleship to bring home the bacon.

While most of Bill Harris’ group was on board the Discoverer, Mr. Harris himself took to the 28-foot barroom brawler Explorer and opened up her season with a BILLFISH GRAND SLAM!

This Blue Marlin was the highlight of the morning, and was followed by a late-day Striped Marlin. Bill nabbed the first Marlin, and Mark Scott scored the second.

A nice Pacific Sailfish by Diane Turner completed the Grand Slam.

They didn’t go home empty-handed, thanks to five nice Dorado catches spread throughout the day.

Even a small shark came up for a photo before being released.

Fantastic work by ‘El Brujo’ Captain Fico and the unstoppable Explorer!

The Harvester was back in action on the 8th, and even though the bite slowed down a little there was still consistent action. This Sailfish was released in the morning by the mega panga:

Then throughout the rest of the day the nabbed four Dorados.

These big meaty monsters combined well with the mountain of Mahi-Mahi they caught earlier in the week.
