Paul Reynolds and his posse took Sailfish City by storm with Captain Alex leading the way for a landmark day of billfish releases.

The highlight was this wonderful Double Sailfish release, expertly coordinated by Mate Kevin in the cockpit.

After the double, the Sailfish got charged up and lined up for their turn to be released.

Great consistent action all day for theย Harvester.ย

They even added some meat for the fishbox with a handful of Yellowfin Tunas:

The super panga Explorer started the month of June on an absolute tear with big numbers of Sailfish releases.

When the Sails are piled up this thick, the challenge isn’t to catch them; it’s releasing them quickly so we can catch some more!

After a few solo releases to get started, Captain Fico and Mate Elias pulled off this sweet Double Sailfish release!

The hits kept coming the next day with several more releases on the scorecard.

The action stayed strong throughout the week, highlighted by this second Double release:

The Explorer is more than just an offshore troller, proven by these excellent Rooster fish scores near-to-shore.

Art and Christine Jones got their week of fishing off to a fast start with the Harvester reporting a swarm of sweet Sailfish releases.

Check out the above-the-water action from these fired-up high-flyers:

After the early run of Sailfish releases they hooked into this meaty Dorado estimated to weigh 30lbs.

With dinner taken care of, the Jones crew went back to trophy fish hunting:

Around mid-day they hooked-up a hunting pair of Sailfish. Mate Kevin did an excellent job to coordinate both fights and ensure safe releases.

They followed up with another double hookup, but this time one spit the hook and escaped.

The Explorer continues to grow her reputation as a fly-weight fish-fighting weapon as many large fish have met their match.

ย This Double Sailfish release is certainly a highlight, and the combo of Captain Fico and Mate Elias have made big Sailfish releases a common occurrence on the super panga.

There has also been a nice run of Yellowfin Tuna which the Explorer has taken advantage of:

Most recently our great friends Ken and Brenda Russell along with Larry Komenda and Misti Nolan nabbed this sweet Rooster fish release:

Great work by the legendary Explorer!

The Harvester continues to grow her reputation as a fish fighter, starting the month strong with an excellent trip on April 3.

After a quick Sailfish release to start they day, the mega panga hit paydirt with a sweet Double Sailfish release.

Safely handled as always by Mate Kevin:

March 14, 2016

Captain Fico and Mate Elias have delivered white-hot action to their clients this month on the Explorer.

These guys have the 28-foot super panga dialed-in and their results are proof that you don’t need a big boat to catch big fish.

The Sailfish bite is on strong with the barroom brawler knocking out several Sails, including some Double Sailfish releases (above).

ย

Rooster fish releases have also been a constant this month for the Explorer:

It’s not all trophy releases, either. The fish box on the super panga has stayed bloody with reports of big Dorado and feisty Yellowfin Tunas:
